Jolene came to us over a year ago from a horrible abuse & neglect situation. She was skin & bones & had been chained up & used for breeding her entire life. Jolene turned out to be such a wonderful dog. She's been in a foster home with other dogs & two small children (infant & toddler). She is gentle with the kids & other dogs. She listens & obeys when you correct her. Jolene is potty trained as well. She is a great Netflix couch buddy too! Jolene is spayed & up to date with vet care.
Jolene is eager to keep on living her best life with a forever home. She is a calm and affectionate older dog who adapts well to new environments. Jolene gets along well with other animals as well as young, active children. She is independent and would also make a great solo companion. She loves to take walks, take naps and play with toys. She enjoys sitting with her foster family by the fire pit, laying her head in her foster momma's lap and licking her hand. She is kennel trained, housebroken, and sheds very little.
A secure physically fenced yard & solid vet reference are required to adopt any of our dogs. The adoption fee is $150. The first step in the adoption process is to fill out the online adoption form at rrofms.org/adopt.. Jolene is currently in a foster home in Madison, MS.
