This cutie is Joey! Joey is an approximately 10-month old male Pit Bull/German Shepherd mix who will weigh around 45-50 lbs. as an adult. He was rescued after being abandoned at a park. Looking for a puppy past most the annoying puppy things? Then, meet Joey! Also known as Joe-Joe and Joseph. He is the sweetest most handsome boy you’ll ever meet. Joey loves life…to its full extent! He still has puppy energy, but he’s not a big chewer and is trying his best at house training. He will need an adopter to help him fully understand the appropriate places to go potty. This sensitive boy loves all dogs, is scared of cats and is just an all-around good dog! He loves prancing around with toys, proud to show them off to anyone and everyone. He is very treat motivated, but easily distracted and nothing really upsets him. He wants nothing more than to please his human, but struggles to remember he’s not supposed to potty in his kennel. Joey is great on a leash, he does great in a kennel (minus the accidents), and he’s been waiting a long time for someone to take a chance on him. Oh, and his ears are absolute perfection! Joe will do best in a home with another playful fur-sibling to romp with and learn from. Aside from the potential of knocking down a young child, his temperament is perfect for all humans of all ages. Joe is ready, willing and able to be your best friend.
