My Story

ADOPTED! - Joey is a very handsome young dog, clearly a "Heinz-57" unique mix! Joey is in rescue though no fault of his own. He is homeless because his owner is moving to an assisted living facility. Joey is up to date on all of his shots and has just been neutered. He is about 2-1/2 years old. He is a shy and somewhat timid gentle giant (weighing a bit over 100 pounds!). He seems to get along with most other dogs and doesn't chase or bother our cats. His previous owner told us he was house trained, and--especially now that he has been neutered--he is, indeed, quite responsible about his bathroom habits! Joey needs a lot of love, as he is a sensitive kind of guy. He will do best in a home where his people will be around a lot to reassure him he will not be displaced again! A fenced in yard would be a plus, although he does well on our cable system too. He would probably like to have another dog in the family as well. Joey is a wonderful dog and will make someone a really great family member! His adoption fee is $75. For more information on Joey, please contact Penny at: [email protected]
