His previous owner worked with him extensively on training, but he did not get along with the other dog in the home. They knew that Joey deserved the best possible home, so they brought him back to us. Joey needs to be the only dog in the home, as he will guard toys/food from other dogs. He has never displayed this guarding behavior towards humans. With humans, he is an absolute gem. One special note for his future family: Joey has severe allergies, so he must be on a hypoallergenic diet and he has ongoing medications.
