Joe is our charming 5-year old Shepherd mix with a sturdy 75 lb frame that has been a beloved resident of our shelter since 2018. While we adore having him here, we know he’s past ready for a forever home where he can truly thrive. This strong and handsome boy is particular about the company he keeps, so he's seeking an experienced owner who understands his unique personality. Joe is incredibly protective of his people and will be a devoted guardian of your home. He dreams of a large safe outdoor area where he can roam freely, sniff out new adventures, and enjoy the great outdoors. While Joe loves spending time outside, he also has a soft spot for some indoor TLC, especially if it includes being petted and getting plenty of treats. Joe might be selective about his friends, but once you’ve earned his trust, you’ll have a faithful companion for life.
