Jock-HELP

UPDATE 9/27: Jock has his surgery and initially was doing well, but he got a complication of infection around the external fixation device, so his charges are now up to $3000 total. We are still hopeful of collecting some more donations to help this family with his expense. Thank you so much to all who have donated to date.

UPDATE 9/15: some of you may remember seeing Jock on our website with a HELP button in May. Well, after he came north to his forever home with Sara and Mike D. in Medfield, MA, he was also found to have a fractured rear hock which hadn't previously been detected. So now he is in need of expensive surgery again-this time $2000. We're hoping to get some donations to help his family pay for this. If you can donate, please click on the donation button below. We reached our goal to pay for Jock's initial shoulder surgery in June. Jock's rescue story: Jock was left behind when his family moved and had a significant shoulder injury from being shot. When he was found, he was lying in the grass and had given up until his foster mom came to him. He had his surgery in May and made a full recovery. Jock is 1 year old and 48 lbs. He is incredibly popular at the vet's office and with everyone he mets. He is a super sweet, loving boy and one of the best rescue dogs ever met. His shoulder surgery in the south cost $656.
