Jezebel and Rocky Need a Home
Can You Help?
Jezebel and Rocky are best friends who are about to lose their best friend. Jezebel and Rocky are dogs, adopted from a shelter and lovingly cared for by a man who is dying of cancer.
Their owner doesn’t have much time left, but he has some unfinished business that he wants to take care of while he’s still here to do it. He wants to find a loving home for Jezebel and Rocky, where they can live out their lives together. He wants to know that his best friends will be well cared for after he’s gone.
Both of the dogs are mixed breeds – of the “medium” variety - about 15 inches high at the shoulder and 50 pounds each. Jezebel is little bit Akita, and a little bit Houdini. When she looks at you, one blue eye and one brown eye shine with intelligence. You have to be clever to keep Jezebel from escaping on an adventure whenever she gets the chance.
Jezebel
She’s a loving animal, gentle with kids, loyal to her owner, but affectionate with all - adult and child alike. She’ll do her best to put the small animals in your home in their place, so cats beware. In the Jezebel and Rocky world, she is definitely the “brains” in the outfit.
Rocky is a cuddly, exuberant, lovable, goofy dog – part German Shepard and part clown. Wherever Jezebel goes, Rocky is a step behind. Rocky loves to play – with children, with adults, but especially with Jezebel. He can enter the room like a cannonball, but he’ll tiptoe around babies and little ones. If you give him any encouragement at all, he’ll sit right on your lap, and lean into you for a hug.
Rocky
The perfect home for Jezebel and Rocky would have a big fenced-in yard where they can romp and wrestle with each other, and a home with a special family or individual who will return their endless supply of love.
They are both well-behaved, house broken (of course), and accustomed to spending their days waiting for the “master” to accustomed to spending their days waiting for the “master” to get home from work. If you can offer Jezebel and Rocky a home, please email us at
