JETT! He was removed from a squatter/hoarding situation because the living conditions were horrible and he had scratches on his bidy as well as untreated cherry eye. He had surgery June 5th to repair his right eye and to be neutered. His eye looks much better!  Before and after pictures are included. Jett is a 50 lb low rider - power and strength in a small package. His personality is as big as his head! He LOVES playing fetch. Luckily he tires out and then requires a rest complete with pittie snores. He is dog good with female dogs. He has had a hard time with males so he would do best as only dog or with a confident female. He coexists with the female resident dog very well. He is really good in his kennel. Sometimes he whoo-whoos when he wants attention but calms down with a "Jett, be quiet!" command. He is house broken but has had a couple accidents after drinking a lot of water. He pulls on his leash at the beginning of a walk but eventually slows down. He doesn't know his own strength so his cuddles are more like a wrecking ball. He's probably not a good fit for small children. Lately he will "nibble" on my arms so we've been working on correcting that behavior. In spite of his quirks, Jett is a really fun dog and makes me laugh all the time! And, as another volunteer said, "He's so dang cute!" Apply to meet Jett today!! (Updated 6/26/2024)
