Jet - Adopted

Take a look at little Jet. He's hard to get a photo of because as soon as you get near him he just wants to cuddle you, so you can't often get far back enough to get a good shot! He's a corgi-bc mix, and about 7 years old. He was a stray who ended up in a shelter which was later closed by the authorities. He was neglected and malnourished, and he nearly died.

He was rescued from that situation, and with good vet care he became happy and healthy. He is an incredibly sweet dog. He is very light, though he looks big with all that fur, you can barely feel his paws if he jumps on you. He loves to have you kneel down so he can lick your neck and wag his tail. He is so, so sweet.

He can be skittish, but has learned to trust us - after just a couple weeks we are able to play with his tail, pick him up, etc - all things that he would have been terrified of when we got him. We have two toddler boys, who we cannot trust aren't going to play with his tail, or drop a little toy truck on him, or do something that scares him, so he is separated from them and is looking for his forever home in a family with older or grown kids.

Jet will need his shots and checked out at a veterinarian's office. He is housetrained.
