Meet Jet, a two-year-old male large mixed breed. Jet is an energetic guy who will barrel his way into your heart. He knows some basic commands like sit and shake and is more than happy to give you his paw to hold while lovingly looking deep into your soul with his sweet puppy dog eyes and that big, beautiful smile. Jet does need a bit more leash training but is definitely trainable and is getting better each day as he goes out on walks with his favorite volunteers and staff. He is a happy guy undergoing Heartworm treatment, and because of this, is awaiting his neuter when his treatment is complete. He is up to date on his vaccinations and microchipped. We do not know how Jet feels about other dogs, cats or kids yet. He does resource guard his food, so he will need his own space during mealtimes away from others to enjoy his food in peace.
