Jessica is a lovely bichon girl who has spent her entire life (we think she is about 3 - 4 yrs old) as a puppy mill mom. Jessica has a wonderful temperament - wags her tail and makes good eye contact. She is happy with other dogs or alone. Wonderful with puppies and cats too. Typical of breeder dogs, Jessica is timid with people, but she will NOT BITE! We are looking for just the right home that will give her the patient and loving environment so that she can learn to trust. Bichon frise is one of the few breeds that do not shed and do not produce the dander which causes so many allergic reactions. However, a grooming reference will be required to adopt Jessica. All adoptions begin with completing the online application found at: www.canineshelterrescue.org Vet, personal, and groomer (if applicatble) references will be required and will be checked

WHAT IS THE ADOPTION FEE?

Adoption fees differ from dog to dog and are non-negotiable. We accept CASH ONLY. Fees cover the vet care, quality food, and medications necessary to care for the dog while in our foster home. We are volunteers - no paid employees here! Fees and donations are the only means to support our continuing rescue efforts.

DO YOU ADOPT OUT OF STATE?

Yes, when it is the best home for the dog. Transportation arrangements and costs are the responsiblity of the adopter in addition to the adoption fee.
