Would you like to see this dog in person? Almost Home volunteers and animals will be at Petco in Sioux Falls on January 15th from 1-4pm. Applications for adoption will be taken at that time, no on the spot adoptions though, as we require an adoption application, references and a home visit. This is an excellent opportunty to meet the animals, talk to the foster parents, and see how YOU can get involved with our rescue!

Jersey is a purebred Italian Greyhound, female and 18 months old, and weighs 9 pounds. Jersey was surrendered to rescue when her owner moved to an apartment. Jersey is shy at first, but warms up and is very friendly and likes a lot of attention, which is typical of the breed. Jersey is at least partially housebroken, but does not like cold weather (typical of Italian Greyhound) so consistancy and a warm coat are necessary. No children under the age of 12, please. Applicants with IG experience is a plus, and please be sure to read up on this breed and its uniqueness. An adoption donation of $175 is required. Jersey is spayed, up to date with shots, heartworm tested and kennel cough vaccinated. An adoption application, references, home visit and adoption contract are required to adopt.
