My Story

Jenna is a pure bred Petit Basset Griffon Vendeen, born 11/6/05. She is AKC registered, spayed and up to date on all her shots. She weighs 24 lbs. Although she's small, she has a big personality. She loves to be right in the middle of the family, and returns every bit of affection she is given. She loves to run and play, so a fenced in yard would be ideal. She walks well on a leash and is housebroken. She would do best as an only dog since she comes from a home where the other dog was very dominant towards her.

This organization is run by volunteers only and we try our best to save as many homeless pets as possible. Since there are only a few volunteers, please understand that we are unable to answer phone calls about the animals. The first step is to fill out an adoption application which you can find on the Pet Rescue website: www.ny-petrescue.org and we will contact you as soon as possible, usually within 5 days. Pet Rescue doesn't have a shelter where you can come and meet the dogs. All showings are by appointment after your application has been approved. If you have any questions, please email us at [email protected] .

If you would like to sponsor a dog, please go to our home page at www.ny-petrescue.org. To sponsor the vet care of a dog, we need $100; to sponsor the transport of a dog, we need $25. Partial sponsorship is always appreciated.
