Jena- adopted!

Jena lives in Peace River, Alberta with her foster dad turned adopter, Greg. She gets to live with cats, has a nuber of dog friends, and goes for lots of outdoor adventures. Congrats Jena on knowing a good home when you found it!

Jena is currently in foster care in Peace River, Alberta. She is hanging out with a male pit bull, 2 cats, and some humans that she adores. She is an easy-going sweetie who is about 6 months old, and looks to be a pit x lab, etc. She should be about lab sized full-grown. She is just completing her basic obedience class, is do to graduate, and is ready for her new home!

here is an update from her foster family!
I'm still working on Jena's obedience training (we renamed her because Kokanee is way to long of a name, haha), it is coming along nicely. She is getting to be a very well behaved girl. She does have a tendency to totally dismantle any stuffed toy and she is a kong killer! Doesn't destroy anything that isn't hers though. She will pick up the occasional shoe or pillow and cary it into the living room but won't tear into it (maybe if no one was watching). She also tends to raid the cats litter box. Hopefully the kitten will soon be able to jump higher so we can put the litter box up higher. She doesn't really freak out much when in her kennel, and will readily go in it when asked to (unless you're in a hurry, haha).

We're still learning Jena's personality. So far she is pretty mellow around people as long as Ortiz isn't around. Those two are constantly playing or wrestlling. She loves curling up on the couch whenever they aren't going at it. She is obviously going to be a big dog. Her paws are huge and she is still a clumsy puppy. The vet/obedience trainer figures she'll get quite a bit bigger. I'm not to sure what kind of dog her dad was but she is sure lanky!
