Meet Jeffie: Jeffie is about a 3 year old (as of February 2024) black lab/Golden mix (best guess) that weighs about 55 pounds. Jeffie was found outside tied to a tree during a snow storm. A wonderful volunteer spoke to the owner who surrendered Jeffie and his crew, Joyce and Holli, to the rescue. Jeffie is currently being fostered in the York, PA area and would love to meet his forever family. Jeffie has a very sweet personality! He does well with people, dogs, and had no issues with the cat he has been around. Jeffie was in a home that had children and he was very good with them. Jeffie is house trained and is doing well with his leash training. We would love for Jeffie to have a home with a fence so he can play and run freely. Jeffie is up to date on his shots and neutered. Jeffie did test positive for heart worms and completed his treatment.
