Hey there, I'm Jay! I'm a female Brown & Merle shepherd who is looking for a forever home. I'm on the smaller/medium side, weighing around 35lbs, and I'm probably about 1 and a half to 2 years old. I've been told I'm stunningly gorgeous, and I'm great on a leash - I love going for walks and exploring the world around me. I really need an experienced foster or adopter to help me learn to trust. I can be a bit fearful, especially around men, but once I warm up to you, I love sitting close for pets and I give great hugs. I'm a very sweet girl, but my fearfulness can sometimes get the best of me. I need someone patient and understanding, someone who can help me feel safe and secure as I navigate the world and learn how to be a dog.
