She is cute, isn’t she? Jasmine is a purebred, brindle Pomeranian. She is 5 years old, weighs about 12# and was an owner surrender when the owner became ill and could no longer care for her.
Jasmine came to us as a fear biter. She’s making progress, but she needs a person who’ll not let her run the household, which has been the case for her whole life, leading to a very insecure dog. She loves people. I think she’s overwhelmed by all the dogs in the house, she’s not a real fan of other dogs at this point. It also appears that she has been treated with a heavy hand, she is quite head shy. We are getting her used to hands flying everywhere. Again, she’s made progress.
She is house trained and crate trained. She doesn’t come when called, so either leash walking or a tie out are her options. Chasing down a dog in any sized fenced-in area is no fun!
If you like Poms, Jasmine is a must see.
