James

James 5 year old, neutered male Lab/husky James is a social, chatty boy. He is very friendly and loves attention, but is also pretty independent. He can take a bit to warm up to new people, but it usually doesn’t take long. When he gets excited or when he wants attention, he will bark until he’s satisfied that you get the point. He really likes to play fetch and always wants to have a ball in his mouth. We have been working with James for quite some time as he has not had much experience with new people. He has come a long way but will need time to adjust to living in a home. He will need a home that is committed to ongoing training and socializing. He is doing really well with his leash training and is clean in his kennel. He would do best in a detached home as he can be a bit of a barker when he’s excited. He came in with Jesse and they could be adopted as a pair or on their own. He has been neutered, vaccinated, heartworm tested and has been on a monthly parasite prevention.
