My Story

*Jake would LOVE a new home or foster home. Please consider being a foster mom and dad to a pet in need. It is a very rewarding experience.*

Hello, I am Jake. I am a very sweet and loving 3 year old male Poodle (mix?). I weigh 15lbs. I have just arrived into rescue and am so happy to be out of the shelter. I love attention. I am fostered with other dogs and get along well with them. I also play nicely with the other dogs in my foster home. I have even met cats and did fine. I sniffed and kissed them and went about doing my own thing. I love to give sweet kisses and sit in my foster mom's lap. I am house trained and crate trained. I even know how to use a dog door. I know my basic commands and respond well to praise. I was even a good boy during my grooming session. I am looking for my new home and would love to have a fenced in yard. I also would prefer an adult home, as little kids can make me nervous. I am really a great boy and am so excited to find a new home just for me.

FOSTER UPDATE
Jake is a delightful boy with a lot of love to give his new family. Jake is housetrained and will use a dog door to go in and out. Jake plays well with his foster companions and likes the exercise. Jake walks well on his leash and rides well in the car. He likes to go bye bye. Jake likes to go out and meet new people. Jake is full of spunk and personality. He loves his foster parents and always says hello and comes over for pets and attention. Jake is a wonderful guy with tons of love to offer his new family!

Adoption Donation: $350.00

Your adoption donation is used to care for the many dogs that enter into rescue. All dogs leave rescue vaccinated, sterilized, microchipped, wormed, flea treated, and medically checked out. In some cases they receive dentals, ear flush, cherry eye surgery, and so on to ensure that they are healthy and ready to be adopted. Your adoption donation is very much appreciated and needed to help care for the many needy dogs that enter into rescue. New adopters will receive a FREE exam coupon at a local veterinary clinic in Lynnwood (so be sure to ask about this coupon if you are interested).

**Please click here to complete the Adoption Application so we can meet**

NOTE: Please do not email for more dog info. This is all the info available until approved application is received and then you can talk directly to that dog's foster home for further info. Thank you!

NWIPR's adoption process includes completion of an adoption application, a vet check, screening, in person meeting, a home visit and a lifetime adoption contract.

NWIPR is the pet's advocate and will select the most suitably matched home for the dog's general and unique needs, therefore adoptions are not done on a first come first serve basis. We reserve the right to refuse service and adoption for any reason.
