Jake was adopted by one of our foster trainers.
He arrived at the shelter as a stray dog. Jake never received a name while he was there, but he gained fame as "No Name, No Home" in the Northstar Weekly's Pet of the Week feature. Jake has been mushing with John and is quite a performer. He can also run lead. He is a superb dog, he's fast, has good stamina, and is a really hard worker. Currently, Jake is skijor racing with Iris and just participated in the Race Across the Valley. Look for Jake in some middle distance races with John in the near future.
