April 9/07 Jake is a very lucky boy, not having to stay in the shelter too long. He has now gone to his foster to adopt home. If Jake is good with there cat (which we think he'll be fine) he has found his new forever home. Good boy Jake!
Jake is such a nice little man....he's incredibly well behaved, calm, and loving. He arrived a few days ago when his Dad decided their situation just wasn't working out. Jake is 4 years old and lived on a farm. His need to work and herd is slowing down and he's completely content to spend his time at someones feet. Being a dog with work experience, he would probably do best in a home without kids because he may feel the need to herd them! He's very sensative and would have his feelings hurt if someone was too hard on him. He will need a kind and caring owner to take him on nice long walks. He doesn't seem to mind cats or dogs, so a multi-pet situation could work out if they like eachother. Give this boy a nice bed in your home..
