Jade is a purebred Great Dane who entered the shelter on 07/23/08. Jade needs a family to adopt her that is familiar with the Great Dane breed and is willing to put time into working with her. Jade is not spayed and she is partially housebroken. Unfortunately her previous owners kept Jade primarily outdoors. Her foster family said she was very affectionate and is craving attention. At this point Jade should be in a one pet household. Although she seems to get along well with cats and other dogs at times, she does display food aggression towards other dogs. We prefer she be in a household with no children at this time. Jade does walk well on a leash, she just needs the right person to train her properly.
