My Story

Hello world, I'm Jackson, a bundle of sweet puppy cuteness. I'm a spunky, playful, 2-month-old, 16-pound combination of labrador and pit bull terrier who loves to play until I fall asleep. My early life wasn't a ton a fun so I'm making up for it now! I'm making great strides in house training. I'm comfortable in my kennel, but I may have an occasional accident if I'm there too long. I'll be working on my leash skills soon and I already know 'sit'. I'm a social pup, enjoying the company humans and other dogs! I haven't been around kids yet, but I'm pretty young, so study kids would probably be fine as I grow and I'm gently curious with cats. I will need a home with a fenced yard and plenty of exercise and training as I grow. Another dog would be great too, but not a requirement. As a puppy, I will need kindness, patience, commitment and love in order to grow into the best dog I can be! Ready to meet your bestie? Here's the application: www.rescueonespringfield.com/our-adoption-process/adoption-application/ **As a reminder, puppies will need lots of time and attention during the first year. Before adopting me, please make sure that you have enough time, energy and commitment to devote to my training. Puppies need a lot of care, so everyone in your household should be on board and ready to help out** My adoption fee is $150 and includes my spay/neuter, vaccinations, wellness exam, heartworm test, and microchip! If you're interested in meeting/adopting me, please visit www.rescueonespringfield.com/our-adoption-process/adoption-application/ and fill out the form! We do adopt out of state with vet references and video home check. *Adopter is responsible for coming to get the dog and returning the dog if the adoption does not work out* **Rescue One is unable to provide an exact prediction of how big or small your rescue puppy will become when full grown. Because of this, Rescue One does not adopt to outdoor-only homes. Pets are family and are not disposable. Please make sure that you are 100% committed to a pet before considering adding one to your home. We are a foster-based organization, and we need more fosters to help us save more animals!
