Jackson is a darling 14 pound shih tzu. He is 9 months old (DOB 9/24/08). Jackson came to Almost Home with his brother- both were given to us by a puppymill. Jackson is a happy, comical little dog. He loves other dogs and loves to play. He is now learning to be in a home and manners. He will need continued wortk with housetraining. Jackson would love to be in a home with another playful dog.
Jackson is neutered, utd shots, dewormed, heartworm tested. His adoption donation is $200. We require an adoption application, references, adoption contract and home visit. We only adopt to families in SD, MN, NE, ND, IA.

If you are out of state, it does take time to process your application and find a home visitor from another rescue to do your visit. Please be SERIOUS about adopting a dog from our rescue before submitting an application.

The application is the first step. After we receive and approve a completed application, we will schedule a home visit.
Almost Home is run from foster homes. We have no facility for the public to come in and view pets.
We do not ship our dogs.
