We've been homeless twice now. Our first owner was put in a nursing home 2 years ago and we went to rescue, where we found a new home that said we were their "soul mates" and they couldn't live without us. Well, a year and half later they had a new baby and packed up our life and belongings and sent us away without a second thought. We thought we were Jack Russell Terriers, but we keep hearing everyone say that we are the typical "Disposable Dogs". We aren't sure what breed that is, but we know that whatever it is, it is making everyone around us very sad. They keep promising us that they will find us a home that will really love us and keep us safe and together.
Hello there, I'm Jack, the smooth coated one, and don't tell Russell, I said this, but I'm the best looking one of us, infact all the girls like me. I'm very athletic. I'm always ready for a run and my vet says I'm in tip top shape. I used to get to go on runs with my owner, until they gave us up for the new baby. I'm the "boss" in our relationship, and I watch out for Russell. I really love my buddy Russell, infact I must always snuggle up with him in our dog bed. I'm 10 yrs. old and housebroken.
Hey! I'm Russell, What is your name? I'm the wirecoated one, and don't tell Jack this, but I'm the "cuddle bug" in this relationship. I LIVE to be held. I love to enjoy life, and stop and smell the roses. I'm pretty laid back, well, unless I see a squirrel and then I'm off to the races. I really love my best buddy Jack and can't live without him. I'm 8 yrs old and housebroken.
We are both housebroken. We are very smart, we know the commands, "down", and "no bark". We love to play with a ball and toys and are always up for a game of "tug-o-war".
We are very attached to each other and our whole lives revolve around being best friends. We spend a lot of time curled up together in our doggy bed. Please help us stay together and give us a second chance at a new life together.
We are both current on shots and HW prevention, must be placed together, housebroken, physically fit, love to play ball, knows basic commands. Jack and Russell are looking for a lifetime commitment. NO cats.
