Approximate age: Just turned 1 year old and is a large sized dog.
Personality: Jack is a typical happy and playful dog. Being young, he has energy to burn and loves to play and interact with humans and dogs alike. It's unknown how he would do with cats. He is crate trained, potty trained, neutered and up to date on vaccines.
Forever home: Jack would fit nicely into an active household with older children or any home where he'll receive lots of attention and have opportunties to be active and challenge his mind because he's a very smart boy and dogs with his energy and intelligence will get into mischief if not given avenues to burn energy and learn new things. His current owners feel he needs a fenced yard.

Waggin' Tails Adoption Information: Waggin' Tails Dog Rescue has a standard adoption fee of $175, or $200 for puppies plus a $50 deposit which is returned upon proof of spay/neuter at six months of age. Our adoption process includes an application, vet reference checks, and a home visit.
We do not have a facility; all of our dogs are fostered in private homes. To view our dogs, please check www.waggintailsdogrescue.org for the dates of our next adoption events. With few exceptions, we show our adoptable animals on Saturdays from 12pm - 3pm at Petco in Novi (on Novi Rd south of 12 mile) or Petco in Farmington Hills (Orchard Lake south of 14 mile). Arrangements can be made to meet our rescue dogs outside of Saturday adoption events after an approved application is submitted (the application does not imply an obligation by the applicant or by the rescue group).
Please be kind to our volunteers who have made rescue a second job that they do in their spare time after coming home from full-time jobs. E-mail inquiries will be answered much more quickly than phone inquiries; our phone number is a voice mailbox only.
