Jack was up on petfinder for less than a day when his family to be applied to adopt him! Brita, Peter, their kids live in Bellingham, and have previously had two other Golden Retrievers. Jack's new mom is a vet so all his needs will be taken care of, plus he gets to go to work with her. He resides with Kiwi the Papillion and two cats. Jack officially hit the jackpot of homes!
Jack is a 14 week old Golden Retriever whose owner hit some hard times and
made the difficult decision to give him up.. He is very friendly and
confident, knows some basic commands and has been trained to respond to hand
signals. It's was Jack's owners goal for him to become a therapy dog and
they had started working on some of those basics already. Jack has lived
with a small dog and a cat and is learning more about what is appropriate
play behaviour from his foster brother. Jack is quiet as can be in his
crate at night and hasn't had an accident in the house since he's been with
us. He settled in to his new surroundings with ease because he's just happy
to be where the action is. Jack is a fantastic catch! More to come as we
get to know him better.
