Hi!!! You may have met my buddy Trooper. We came into rescue together. Just like Trooper I never received heart worm prevention, and I too have heart worm. I am a lucky boy though. Other than the heart worm I am very healthy!!!! I am going to be able to go through heart worm treatment and be like new again (well like 10 years new again !) My foster mom is such a bragger. She can't stop telling everyone how wonderful I am. I have wonderful house manners and I am very quiet. When I get outside to play WATCH OUT!!!! I get so silly. You should see my foster mom jump when I run at her like a scud missile. She looks so funny, it cracks Trooper up every time. She can't believe I am an older guy. I overheard my foster dad say that I am really smart. I just can't believe this, a nice warm house, toys, a backyard, and people talking nice to me. I wish I could stay here forever, but my foster parents promised me they will find me a mom and dad of my own. I sure hope they find one soon, I want to have a home of my own where I can hang my hat for the last time. In return I will give you more love than you can imagine. I promise I wont run at you with my missile move even though it is really funny! My foster mom is taking me for my heart worm treatments and I will be all ready for my new family. Boy it would be GREAT to recover in my forever home. If you are looking for a SWEET, WELL BEHAVED, CUTIE, who is soon to be heart worm free, I am your dog. Please tell the Sunshine people that you want Jack to be your dog. I will repay the favor by loving you with all of my heart. PLEASE fill out your application and write my name Jack on it.
