09/05/08 - Jack is a unique Norwegian Elkhound mix. At 2 1/2 years old (born March 2006), Jack is a loving boy who loves to play. Jack is up to date on all shots, neutered and housebroken. He loves the company of people more than his dog friends at times and can often be seen cuddling on the couch with his Dad. Jack walks very well on a leash and enjoys car rides. A fenced yard is a MUST for Jack so that he can get lots of exercise in a safe environment. Jack is past his puppy stage and therefore not much of a chewer, however he does like to dig an occasional hole to keep cool. Jack's ideal home would have a fenced yard, loving family and no more than 1 other doggie friend - Jack wants your attention and is happiest with his people.
Jack is a wonderful opportunity to adopt an adult dog. Adult dogs provide instant companionship and form a wonderful bond with their new family. You also avoid chewing and accidents in the house not to mention easier vet visits with a healthy adult dog.
