Ivy is a 3 year old Boxer mix who was abandoned at a vets office when her owners couldn’t afford the life-saving surgery that she needed. She was emaciated and had a urethral prolapse (no surprise since they apparently had allowed her to have multiple litters of puppies and God only knows what became of them).
Once in a foster home, she was nursed back to health and is a, happy, healthy, playful, and loving “velcro” dog. She’s doing great with the other dogs and kids in the home, and she absolutely loves going for car rides!
If your heart is touched by her story, and you want to give her the forever home and family that she actually deserves, please contact Shannon at 919-442-7720.
[ NOTE: Ivy is currently being fostered in the greater Raleigh NC area where she was saved. Non-local potential families will be able to speak to the current foster family and meet Ivy virtually over video, then transport can be arranged to points northeast.]
