Ito

Ito is an great ole' guy! His age is unknown as he was left in the yard after the foreclosure of his home. The neighbors could hear him but could hardly see him over the tall grass. He had a little path worn down around the fence, bless his heart.. The neighbors fed him for a while, hoping his family would come back, but they never did. After several months of waiting, they called me. I have had Ito for a while now, thinking 'who would want this old, ugly dog' but everyone else thinks he's cute! He loves to play fetch. He is ok w/other dogs & cats. Kids are OK under adult supervision. He is not housetrained. He is also heartworm positive and is on the slow-kill treatment because he is too old to undergo anything more strenuous. He doesn't show any signs of advanced HWs so there is no rush. He sleeps most of the time and always greets me at the fence with a happy face and a wagging tail. Great on a leash and LOVES to ride in the car! He loves to get his summer hair cut and loves baths! He is a great ole' dog looking for a forever home where he can just live out his days playing fetch and greeting his new owner at the gate with a smile! Can you see his big smile??? What a great dog! Adoption donation is $100. He is neutered and up to date on shots. Adoption donation also includes the 1 year HW treatment. Thank you.
