Issy rescued

Update: 12.26.09 - Isabelle is on her way to CANADA!!!! She has been rescued and will go to a foster home and then put up for adoption. Isabelle was adopted from Pound, but proved to be too playful for owner's older dog. She is fine with cats and adores children. "Issy" is approx a year old and in pen 1. She does have plenty of energy and doesn't wear out too quickly Issy weighs 28 lb. She does well on wood floors, is housebroken, spayed and likes to sleep curled up on top of her cell mate Mia. Mia is so good with Isabelle!

Dogs in the Rowan County K-9 Shelter receive their first dhppl vaccination (parvo/distemper) upon arrival at the pound. Rabies vaccine and spay/neuter surgery can be done for the $50 adoption fee. Please note rabies vaccine and surgeries are NOT done on site and dogs must be adopted before they receive rabies vaccine or surgery.
