Isahiah

Isahiah was one of 5 dogs purchased at a dog auction in Miller, SD. Almost Home does not buy dogs, but in this case the breeder was getting out of the business and we were able to get dogs out of the puppymill breeding cycle. Isahiah would have ended up a breeding dog in a cage if we would not have rescued him! A big THANK YOU to donors who gave money to make it possible to save these 5 dogs!

Isahiah is an 11 week old cock-a-poo. He has a docked tail and is creme in color. He is a very sweet puppy. Isahiah likes to play with other dogs and is a cuddler. Isahiah is learning about cratetraining and housetraining in foster care. He will need regular grooming. Isahiah is neutered and is up to date on vaccinations.

Isahiah is neutered, utd shots, kennel cough vaccinated, and wormed. His adoption donation is $200. We require an adoption application, references, adoption contract and home visit. We only adopt to families in SD, MN, NE, ND, IA.

Important things to know before you contact us:

If you are out of state, it does take time to process your application and find a home visitor from another rescue to do your visit. Please be SERIOUS about adopting a dog from our rescue before submitting an application.

The application is the first step. After we receive and approve a completed application, we will schedule a home visit.

Almost Home is run from foster homes. We have no facility for the public to come in and view pets.

We do not ship our dogs.
