Hydra only has one head, unlike her namesake, but she certainly has the bearing of a mythological queen of her kind! She loves when her human subjects (like staff and volunteers) take her out to patrol her kingdom (or play some fetch!) or when they bring her new thrones to rest upon (she likes the fluffy ones the best). She can most often be found barking out commands to her people or chewing on a delicious offering (she loves her peanut butter Kongs!). Since she hasn't had much time out of her kingdom to interact with other dogs, she'd like to meet any potential canine roommates before you adopt; ask one of our adoptions counselors about scheduling a dog to dog. If you're ready to open your home and accept your rightful queen, Hydra has an opening in her VERY busy schedule for you!
