This litter of lawnmowers was going to be set out in the woods until their rescuer heard and stepped in to save them. With a guesstimated birthday of April 15, 2023, we don't know anything about mom or dad so are estimating their adult weight as 45 - 60 lb. Husqvarna is a good-natured boy with youthful enthusiasm. He loves playing with the other dogs in his pack. Although not allowed loose in the house, he's crated inside overnight and doesn't make a mess. Husqvarna is leash-savvy, but will pull to get to exciting sniffs. He likes polite dogs and is friendly toward strangers. He's comfortable riding in a car with his brother. ********** Whether dogs / puppies come in as strays or owner surrenders, we make our best guess as to birthdate and breed. For adult dogs, our adoption fee covers a standard canine vaccine, a rabies vaccine, and deworming if recommended by our vet. Adult dogs will also have current heartworm test. For puppies over the age of 14 weeks, our adoption fee covers the first 3 puppy vaccines. If the puppy is still in our care at 16 weeks, we will also provide the rabies vaccine. A vet reference is required only if you are adopting an intact dog over 6 months of age (or the age our attending veterinarian recommends for spay/neuter) to ensure future altering of the dog. A refundable spay/neuter deposit is required for intact dogs/puppies. Open Adoption Events for Foster Dogs are held on most Saturdays at Tractor Supply in Lenoir from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Open Adoption Events for Bunch Anderson Shelter Dogs are held every Saturday from noon-4:00 p.m. Please check our FB page for changes in Adoption Event Schedules.
