Hunter has had a hard life! He was found at a state park. Animal Control had been trying to catch him for months (he is very smart!) and finally he just got so sick that they were finally able to catch him as he could not even stand up. He was so infested with ticks that he was barely alive. We took him to the vet and they literally gave him about a 10% chance of living. They said that he might not survive even with a blood transfusion. This boy is TOUGH! He fooled them all! He he needs someone who understands how to work with a dog that has been living on his own for a while. He can be a bit stubborn and as long as he isn't backed into a corner literally and physically, he is great. We are looking for that special adopter that is equipped to handle this!
