MY ADOPTION FEE IS WAIVED. Meet Hunter, a pup with a heart of gold. This sweet, happy soul is the embodiment of joy and affection.When you first encounter Hunter in his kennel, he greets you with a wagging tail and eyes that sparkle with excitement. Once in a yard, he'll let loose with a few rounds of zoomies that will surely put a smile on your face. When excited, he might get a bit jumpy/mouthy, but is very handler-focused, listens to verbal corrections and will give you an automatic sit with eye contact. He likes a toy or two, but loves attention and going on walks most. On the leash, Hunter walks well and will check in with you when called. His affectionate nature knows no bounds, and sometimes he can burst with love energy due to this. He is looking for a best friend who understands that sometimes he just gets so excited! With Hunter by your side, every day is sure to be a joyful adventure. Hunter has participated in shelter playgroups in the past, and seems open to a potential doggy friend, but can be picky. If his adopter is willing to do slow introductions, he may be able to live with a friendly dog who matches his energy and would likely do better with a female that's willing to give him space and let him warm up slowly.
