My Story

Hunter was left behind when his family packed up and moved away. He was tied to a mailbox - but he still loves everyone. He came to the local county shelter with very few dog skills, EXCEPT how to chase the ball, carry it to the top of the hill, and chase it down the hill again. He learns very fast. It has also been discovered he has excellent tracking skills. For those reasons, when his number came up for the euthanasia list, it was time for him to go to rescue. On a personal side, Hunter loves his humans. He has learned to stand or sit beside his caregiver and wait for love and affection. So far, he loves every dog that resides at his foster home. We are also working on his house training skills. He is crate trained. He is a very smart boy and figures out everything we have introduced him to. He is young, healthy, athletic, neutered, and very handsome. If you want a ball chasing fanatic to go to the park with, Hunter is your dog! WE ARE A TX BASED RESCUE. HUNTER IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN KERRVILLE, TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application found at kerrvillepetsalive.org
