Hughie

Say hello to Hughie! This affectionate boy was born at the Stanislaus shelter, where his mama Starlight had been dumped just days before. We were hoping Starlight could wait just one more day and give birth under our care, not alone in the scary shelter in the middle of the night. But Starlight was such a tough mama, she gave birth to nine babies all by herself. She even greeted kennel workers the next day, happily showing off her new puppies. The whole family came to us the next day. Hughie has been the most affectionate pup since they first learned to crawl. Hes all about spending time with people. Whether its running, kissing, cuddling, or playing, Hughie will be right by your side. He loves to play rough with the other puppies, but is more about kissing people. We think this litter are mixes of husky, Australian shepherd, and super mutt! Their dna test is at the lab, so we will know soon enough. Mama starlight is definitely a husky mix, and weighs about 40 pounds. We think the pups will be a similar size when full grown. As with all of our dogs, Pups Without Borders provides the first year of DAPP, Bordetella, rabies, microchip, spay/ neuter, etc.
