Huey

Huey has gone to live the good life with a Coquitlam couple. He is now well on his way to learning how to drive, play their guitars, squeeze onto the couch, and flop over for even a smidgen of love!

Huey spends time at the Delta Humane Society while his foster mom works. Feel free to email us and we'll let you know when Huey will be hanging out there next, trying to mooch pets off of anyone and everyone. This boy literally falls over for a good petting!

WOAH, we were expecting a pit mix and ended up with a horse! For however charming and sweet Huey is, this boy ain't no pit mix! He looks like he may have some lab in him, american bulldog, and perhaps some greyhound or great dane or husky or a whole bunch of mutt! But your guess is as good as mine. He's just a handsome, goofy heinz 57 who ended up in pit bull rescue.

Huey came to us from an animal control facility in the Okanogan. He looks to be about a year old, and is a tall lanky blond dude. His tail is slightly curled, his stride is very long, and his charm is a mile wide. He was likely a fruit pickers dog who went a wandering and ended up inpounded. So far he is good with other dogs, and happy-go-lucky with those human folks. He will be looking for an active home, with some humans to love him for all of his charm. He is currently living with a gammet of other dogs, and people, and is fitting in fabulously. He appears to be house-trained, and knows basic commands. He is a very lanky blond dude, who will likely weigh about 90 pounds when he matures. He ain't exactly a small duckling, and doesn't fit into any of our "pit bull sized" crates. Seeing him trying to squeeze himself in is actually quite a hoot!

We love Huey, and know that you will to. If you are looking for a no nonsense, fun pal to for hikes with and tell bad jokes to, Huey might just be your guy. Stay tuned for better pics!
