Hudson

Hudson came to STAAR after being found as a stray and ended up in a high kill shelter in the Midwest. We were lucky to get him transported to an amazing foster home in Oregon before his time was up. Now he's turning every head in Oregon because, well...look at him!! If you're looking for a loyal, intelligent, goofy, eager to please, stunning...and did we say INTELLIGENT German Shepherd, then Hudson is your guy! This dude will learn it all and in seconds. He is highly focused and intent on his person. He aims to please with all that he does and food is just the perfect motivator. Hudson really enjoys playing with other dogs and lives in a foster home with multiple cats. He's also had exposure to horses and cows and is still figuring them out but has been respectful and redirects fantastically. Hudson has incredible recall and athleticism. He would thrive doing scent work, agility or being an endless hiking companion. He will need someone who understands his physical and mental needs. GSD experience or working dog experience is a plus but with a dedicated, active individual, he will make an incomparable companion. Hudson has been neutered AND is gastropexied. He is approximately 1 year old. He is in a foster home and will need an approved adoption application before setting up any meet and greets.
