Huckleberry

Huckleberry looks at you like you're the only thing in the world that matters. Love, devotion, gratitude -- every soft and fuzzy fiber of his being just radiates it. This gentle, 10-year-old hound lived with seven other dogs on a dirt patch in a yard. There was very little shelter, water, or food. There was no kindness or compassion. A dedicated rescuer was able to remove the dogs from that situation, and we were fortunate enough to welcome Huckleberry to AAS. For the first time ever, Huckleberry is well-fed, has clean water, and can nap on soft grass or a bed! The only other first he needs is a loving home. Huckleberry's favorite activities include gazing into your eyes, leaning up against you, and soaking up all the pets and kind words you can give him. He's a calm, low-maintenance, highly affectionate guy who's good with other calm dogs and who absolutely adores every human he meets.
