Howy

Howy is a 1.5 yo Texas Heeler (Heeler/aussie mix) blue Merle neutered male, weighing 40 pounds, just a great size for a dog. He is a compact little fella that was dumped in the River bottoms. Howy LOVES toys! He has a great time playing with you and by himself. He is a polite fella, does fantastic when taken for a walk on a leash, and is enjoying shelter life. Howy is a peculiar guy, he is a grumbler. If he is uncomfortable with a new situation, he grumbles about it. He has not shown any aggression towards us at all. Howy is good with most dogs. He is shown with Granger the Husky in these videos. Howy is a very focused guy on his handler. I opened the gate for him to have free time, and he sat down inside his pen while I walked away. I had to go into the pen and ask him to come out and run around. He came out but just walked beside me the entire time off leash. He is very focused on the handler. Howy is completely vaccinated, neutered, flea/tick prevention, but he did test positive for heartworms. He has finished his doxycycline and has had advantage multi applied. This guy would be a perfect dog for someone with heeler/herding dog experience. Super smart! Frisbee dog, agility dog, working dog! I really like this guy! Another description of Howy!
