Hi I'm Howie! I'm a sweet little chi mix who landed at a rural county shelter. Thankfully, Guardians of Florida Animal Rescue took me under their wing to give me a chance at a forever home. I'm a very good boy and get along with other dogs. I am estimated at around 5-6 years old, am around 20 lbs and my rescue believes I'm a min pin mix.
I did test positive for heartworm, but my treatment is underway and my rescue will pay for my treatment until I test negative (any in office treatments, if needed, to be done at my rescue's vet in Ft Myers to be covered). My adoption fee covers my up to date shots, wellness check, deworming, microchip, heartworm testing and neuter...all already done, as well as my heartworm treatment.
