Howard is another rescue from a short list at a CA shelter. And as a black dog, he is automatically one that gets overlooked but this kid has a nice personality! At approximately 35 pounds, he is a great size for hiking and all the adventures but doesn't take up the entire couch! And he isn't really too big to be a lap dog either!! He has been immediately out for leash walks and did great. He seemed very interested in our resident cats, so probably best into a home without cats. Loved walking our 1/4 mile path around the property and got lots of time to sniff. He will need introductions to other dogs in a home to make sure they will be good friends. He is up to date on vaccinations, has been neutered and is micro-chipped. This handsome cutie is available for an adoption fee of $100.
