Houdini

Houdini went on quite the adventure before ending up at our shelter. He was living on the streets of North Kansas City and spent two months evading all efforts to capture him. Houdini earned his name because one minute we would see him laying in someone's yard, and the next minute he would be gone. Houdini was caught with the help of the KC Dog Trappers. Houdini is a very loving dog. He is potty trained, but he is very timid around new people. Houdini would probably require multiple visits to the shelter in order for him to be comfortable. Houdini refuses to get on chairs or couches, and refused a bed at the shelter for 7 months. He has just recently become okay with laying on a dog bed. Houdini is very loyal and loves getting attention from those he trusts. He constantly boops us with his nose when he wants to be petted. Houdini enjoys playing with other doggy friends.
