My Story

Hoss is living in a foster home. Fill out our quick adoption survey, and then we can set up a phone call or meet and greet with Hoss's foster! Hoss is: - Neutered - Up to date on vaccines - Microchipped - Heartworm negative - Currently taking medication for anxiety support Hoss is: Housebroken: He has been doing well overall when on a consistent routine Crate trained: He has done well when home alone for up to 4 hours, but can take time to settle when crated while his people are home Leash walking: He can become overexcited when he sees other dogs on walks, and will need to keep working on this with positive reinforcement Dog social: Yes, he lives with 2 resident dogs in his foster home and has been doing well! He has been especially well-matched with playful dog pals. Cat social: He has done well in living with a dog-savvy, confident cat after a slow intro period Kid friendly: Unknown but would likely do best with kids 12+ given his excitability Hoss likes: - cuddle sessions on the couch with his humans - a good wrestling match with a dog pal - a nice game of fetch in the backyard, and he will do anything for a squeaky ball! - learning new tricks in exchange for tasty snacks Hoss is an active and energetic boy so would do best in an active home where he will get plenty of mental enrichment and physical activity. He is excited to greet new people but just needs a bit more training to learn not to jump on them. He would do best with kids 12 and up, as he can become mouthy and jumpy when overstimulated. He can be a chatty boy, so may be best in a home without thin/shared walls. He loves having playful dog pals to burn off some energy and snuggle with! Hoss's adoption fee is $300.
