...ADOPTED! 4/11/10....Hoppy is a darling 5 year old 6 pound Pomeranian. Hoppy and his buddy Winky were snatched from the jaws of death when a volunteer went to the shelter and saw Hoppy and Winky in a crate next to the euthanazia room door. Winky and Hoppy were minutes away from being put down. After some time in foster care, Hoppy and Winky underwent needed surgeries. Hoppy's bad leg was removed and Winky's infected eye was removed. Both Hoppy and Winky have recovered fully from surgeries and have 100% adjusted. Amazingly, Hoppy is able to race up and down stairs and run around just like the 4-legged dogs in his foster home. Winky's missing eye does not hinder his view of the world. He just looks like he's winking at everyone.
