"Sir Hop-a-Lot Hopper, our young adult, male, fox hound, got his name because when he gets happy he starts hopping around. His breed needs a lot of exercise so any adopter should plan for extended play in a fenced yard, long walks/jogs or regular trips to the dog park. Hopper adores other dogs of all ages and sizes, so another active dog in the home would be an ideal playmate for him. He is a sweet boy who loves everyone he meets. In the house, he first explored the room, then played with his toys, then settled down and lay down on the sofa with his hostess. He seemed so grateful to be out of the shelter, having someone to curl up and cuddle with. Please come in and meet him today!
