Hopper

Animal Profile: Hopper was 11 weeks old when he arrived in Seattle on 7/29. His foster mom in Texas says is the happiest little guy. He is interested in everything right now, including other dogs. He will follow you around wherever you go to see what you are up to, but he is equally independent and confident to do his own thing. He had his first "just for fun" car ride yesterday and loved the ride and getting to meet new people. He knows how to use a doggy door and is well on his way to being potty-trained. Hopper will be a wonderful addition to some lucky family! Foster Update: Hopper is a a fun, loving, affectionate puppy. He is a sweet boy who is eager to please and show his love. He gets along very well with our resident dog and equally loves playing and napping by our side. He is working on potty training and is picking it up quickly. He is a fast learner and has adapted very easily into our routine. In his crate he cries for a little but is able to settle down. He has a unique stride/hop which is why he rightfully earned the name Hopper, but it doesn't hinder him at all! He is friendly with our two little kids and would do well in a house with or without kids and/or another dog. His sweet disposition would make an excellent addition to any family! Hopper does have a sight hop in his step which we are looking into and will add more info as we learn more from the vet. Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations per AVMA standards, heartworm test if applicable, microchip with registration, and health certificate. Your adoption fee may be tax deductible as DGS is a 501c3 organization. All adoption fees go toward the care of all dogs in our rescue.
